Do you enjoy your job?

I don't think I know anyone who actually loves their work. Does anyone wake up and think "can't wait to get to work"? Please let me know what you do & do you like it?

I really like my job. I am a retail merchandiser and I have the best hours. 7-3 m-f with weekends off. Even though I like my job I would still like to be able to work at home to be with my kids more.

Payday... I love my job... Other days... ah ohhh boring. I'm working in a trading company as an executive assistant. I wanted to go back to teaching. I'm actually planning to resign in July of this year to pursue my teaching career.

I believe such issue could be related with the attitude toward life. If you are a positive and optimistic person. so whatever and whenever you do,you must enjoy the process.right?

Love my work a little. Less and less chances to get promoted. I work just for living.

no. i dont enjoy it as much i did before. i was happy with my work and the people i work with. but there are some organizational changes that happened and took place that kinda stirred my mind. i am thinking, rethinking of giving a resignation and find a better opportunity. i ahve stayed here in the company for more than 5 years but i ain't feeling my worth. i have done so many projects, started up new ones too but they seemed so senseless at this point in time.

I don't love my current job working outside the home. So, I've started my own home based business. I know that I will enjoy working with this company as an independent consultant. They teach and train me and they don't leave me to fend for myself. I'm developing GREAT relationships with others on my team and I'm experiencing personal growth. I am learning to get out of my comfort zone in order to find the people I really enjoy working with. I get to choose who my co-workers are! That's something we can't do in a regular job. And, I don't have a boss telling me I can't take off to go enjoy the day or take care of my sick daughter or husband. Once I get my home based business really running I won't have to answer to anyone but myself and if I don't like my boss it's my own fault. And, I can easily fire that boss and get another one with a simple attitude adjustment on my part. Too bad we can't do that in our regular jobs! LOL!

I am a bank teller by day. The job isn't too bad. The benefits are great but the pay could use a little boost. Luckily, I really like most of my co-workers, so that makes things good. At night I bartend. It's a really fun job and usually excellent cash on hand, but I have been at the same bar for over six years now and am getting a bit burned out from the same place, so I think it's about time for a change. If I won the lottery and never had to work again, I wouldn't be upset at all! SO, NO I don't exactly love any job I've ever had in my life. I have been a receptionist, bank teller, bartender, cashier, worked in imports and exports, canvassed, and a few other jobs. My favorite so far HAS been bartending, but as I said before, if I were to win the lottery and never have to work again, I would be elated!!

i agree with you, there are few lucky people who love their jobs... as i for me, there are times when i wake in the morning and i can't wait to get to work especially when are great projects. but a lot of times, i hate going to work because i'm bored on my job and i want to experience something new. Now, ive decide to quit my job and study again to land on a better job... good luck for me...
