Pregnancy tests

Ok here is my situation. I am on depo provera and have been for almost the last year. The last few days I have been feeling sick and nauseous to the point of being sick. I took a test last night and I waited for the 3 mins and I didn't get a result, so I went back later last night to take another look and it was positive! What my question is 'Should I trust that result or take another one?'
I am racking my brain this morning trying to figure all this out.

I am excited but I am still not sure I botched the test or not... I cannot wait until tomorrow when I can find out for sure. I did tell my mom and she was very supportive of what is going on.

Well I just took another test and it came out negative...i am wondering why the difference and should I go to the appoitment tomorrow?

There is not such thing as a false positive on those test. So congrats! I would still go to the Dr as soon as possible to get the blood test done.
The symptoms you describe above I have had on birth control and I was not pregnant (the test I took was negative). Come to find out, my body was having an adverse reaction to the birth control. The three times it has happened to me to OB I was seeing at the time said it was a fairly normal thing to have happen.

Its not uncommon for one to get a false positive BUT considering your feeling ill etc your best bet IMO is to go to the doctor and get a test done then take it from there...

I am going on thursday to get tested again to see if I was right. This is very nerve racking!

I've never been pregnant, but I know the symtoms thorugh my sister in law. She had the same exact thing as you and she was on the pill, but it failed her. She started getting sick and she took a test, like you it didn't give results at first but then the next day she did another one and it said she was pregnant. She later went to a doctor and sure enough she was pregnant.
See a doctor. You could very well be pregnant.

I hope you're still planning on going to/went to the appointment whenever it is/was.
You can't rely on those tests if they're giving you two different things.
If Depo didn't work for you, then I guess it's good I got away from it. (I tried it for 6 months and had some pretty obnoxious side effects.)

I did end up going and it was negative. I am not feeling any better though. I still feel like something is going on with me and the lady told me that I can come back next week for another test just to be sure.
