For Filipinos here in mylot, have you watch the Bb. Pilipinas 2008?

i was able to watch this pageant and the portion that i have started watching is when the top 10 were chosen to be asked by the panels... when Janina San Miguel was called, she really looked sooo confident and i didnt mind her diction at all as long as she showed herself as confident as she can for that is what most judges look out for.. right? after being asked, i was so shocked by what she answered. all what she did was to say sorry and laugh and during the coronation, i jokingly blurted out that her number will be called and it was true! i was like "what?? she won???? how come?" i just couldnt believe it. if she was intelligent to answer the question with sense and during her swimsuit and gown thingy event she slipped on the floor and stood up still looking very confident, i would choose her to be one of the winners.. i was expecting two other girls who answered the questions intelligently but one of them got chosen.. the judging was really confusing because every pageant must not only have the beauty but also the INTELLIGENCE. beauty and brains is one big package. ive heard other contestants who has good answers and it is so unbelievable that she was chosen.. did she get the ms international award or was it miss world?? my gosh.. that would be a shame for our country.. the more other countries will look down to us filipinos and it is not a good news. if their reason for choosing her just because she managed to continue answering the question eventhough she got mental blocked doesnt mean they must show consideration to that.. man! whats wrong with them! haha.. now she became a laughing icon not just in the Philippines but all around the word..

She was no worse then the United States one Miss South Carolina with the kids in China making maps for the Iraq. Just more proof that if you are beautiful you don't need brains.
