It is only 10 years old. To get it to turn on I have to turn the thermostate off and then on and then push the up degree button. I comes on for a while. No matter how high I set the thermostate
it doesn't go up to that point before it shuts off. I had a new thermostate put in and it is doing the same thing. It has an electric starter so is there something like the sensor in the older furnaces that might need to be cleaned? Please Help. A "furnace " person came out and took it apart and said it looked fine, put in the new thermostate and charged $350 and it didn't solve the problem.
HELP!!!
Many thanks,
