The Tremendous push of the world

The tremendous growth in the world started to occur only after 1990,since globalisation and privatisation was accepted by the whole world only from 1990.Hence the growth rate of the world can rightly be justified as two era's namely Before 1990 and After 1990.Now here is my question,
can you suggest the impacts it brought forward(i mean in all fields and any field that you know)
