Do you exercise?

How many of you actually do exercises? I used to go to a gym every other day to do my exercises, but I now do them at home. It got to be too expensive to keep up with my gym pass, so I had to give it up. I now mostly just do walking on my treadmill. Do you own a treadmill? And if you do, do you use it? I get lazy sometimes and don't bother with it and then I feel guilty for not using it since I paid a lot of money for it. My husband does stretching exercises every morning as soon as he gets out of bed. I don't know where he gets the energy from first thing in the morning, when he gets up at 4:30 or 5:00am. I couldn't do it.

Like you I used to go every morning to the gym - started at 6.30am in the weekdays and 8am on weekends. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and at the beginning it was quite cheap but as time worn on I started feeling a little older and couldn't quite get myself there every day and then other things kept happening in my life and to top it all the membership prices became far too pricey, so like you I gave it up. Now I am living in the Dom Rep and have the beach to walk along which we religiously did every day, even twice a day plus swam in the sea. Now we're both getting a bit lazy.. we haven't gone for a week (groan). Motivation time me-thinks! I know that if I had an exercise machine that it would get covered in dust. My exercise would be just to look at it! Guilt is a hard trip so I think I am going to push us into going for a walk this afternoon - thanks for the nudge with this discussion!

It's always hard to start exercising.. But once u start, it's hard for u to stop.. LOL ^_^ Exercising doesn't mean u have to be in a gym, u can do it at home too.. PLe can be in gym but just playing with weights, show face only.. LOL ^_^ U've a treadmill at home?? That's great.. u can walk or do a slow jog and run on it whenever u'r watching tv.. Or when it's winter, it's a perfect chance for u to sweat it out on the treadmill ^_^ I do both weights and running 5times a week and i really enjoy them.. Too Bad my house is too small, cant have a treadmill ^_^

I never went to a gym for doing exercises. I used to maintain my body by keeping my diet under control and only did brisk walking in the morning for some time. But with my daughers now going to school I hardly have any time at my disposal to go for a morning walk as much of my time goes in getting them ready for school. I recently noted that my hip and upper legs need to get back in to shape. I tracked some exercises for the same on you tube and have started doing them daily in the evenings. I am hoping to cut down the extra fat and get them back to shape.

I have 5 acres and lots of dirt to shovel and move around so, YES, I exercise. I also play sports and stuff with my boys. Yes, I have a treadmill. I used to use it every day before we got the boys, but I use it less often now. As a matter of fact, as of four days ago, I won't be using it at all because we had to move it out to the shed. We needed the room in the office which is being converted into a nursery for two babies or toddlers we are going to foster. I'm guessing we will probably get more toddlers than babies and I will be getting my running done when I run after them all day. LOL

Before my operation I used to go to the gym 6 times a week. My aim was to lose weight and improve my fitness level. I really enjoyed going to the gym as I started to make new friends as well as getting a good workout, although having to wake up at 5am to get to the gym early was a bit of a struggle! I'm hoping to go back to the gym soon but I won't be doing as much weight training as I used to, just a lot more treadmill work instead. I wish I had a treadmill at home but there's no space to put it!

No I wish I had a treadmill. So now that its not as cold outside I walk everyday. I always feel good after Ive walked. I seem to have more energy. I use to belong to a gym too but it got too expensive.

I never could afford to go to the gym, but did buy a treadmill (lower end one) when we got our taxes back a few years ago. I used to get on it religiously, but got away from it. I've actually started back last week after accepting the fact that I've gained almost 20 pounds since I quit! It's just boring, so I just turn the tv up really loud and walk while I watch one of my favorite shows to distract me.

I used to be an exercise buff, but not anymore. My only exercise was to do household chores and running after my little girls. I think just having kids is enough to give you a dose of exercise for 24 hours. =)

I cycle to and from my school (about 45 minutes each), so i dont really have time to do much other exercice, but i think that the cycling is enough for me. Im also thinking of maybe taking up some kind of martial art, but i dont know about that yet.

Yes I exercise at home too, I have my own set of exercises that I do and a little routine. I dont have any exercise equipment though as we dont have anywhere to put anything like that really. I could not do exercise at that time in the morning though, I have enough trouble getting out of bed never mind exercising! Making a cup of coffee is about as much exercise as I can stand in a morning!

Well i usually do excercise at home, as i don't have much time to goto the gym. And most of the holidays i go to park and do my excercise at ground. Its great to do excercise in morning with fresh air to breath...It makes me fit and healthy. Cheers!!!

I go the gym at least 3x a week not to loose weight but to gain weight and have my muscles toned. I've been hitting the gym for 4 months now. So far, my tummy and abdomen are shaping up :)

I don't go to gym to do exercise as it's expensive and the time is not so flexible for me. Everyday I go to work and go home on foot. So I think it's already a kind of exercise.
