don't you think it's a little space-consuming especially there are many emails in your inbox.

I often delete my cell phone messages, because I sometimes you will read some happy joks, and also you will read some bad thing,in that case, I choose to delete them all. I know something is uncontrolled, so I need to face the new thing. But I don't always delete my emails, because my memory is not very good ,I need some emails to remind me of something.

Yes,I do like to get rid of a lot of message and e-mail as soon as possible and I tend to put things in the recycle bin but I do not final delete these as I may want to bring them back to use someday. My wife never deletes anything and she keeps a very clean house but she is more interested in playing hours of literati. But most of the data goes ASAP..thankx for the good post.

No I dont delete messages after I have read them and so you would hate the state of all of my inboxes because they are cluttered and crowded! I always delete all the messages out of my phone when its full and I have no choice, my email inbox isnt too bad but still could do with a bit more cleaning up. Its just such a pain to do all the time!

To the contrary, i delete messages before i read them because I have been afflicted by a host of spam on subjects that clearly are intended to waste my time, so i delete such messages before i read them

I delete unimportant messages in my mobile phone, while I don't delete the other messages for a recall, coz i might need them later. The same is true with my emails.

I am an untidy person and therefore I do not keep deleting messages until my inbox is nearly full then I have a blitz on it and clear it out

i'm thinking keeping messages for long is the odd habit. i can't really tell why i'm keeping them but for some reason/s i do not delete messages, either text via phone or emails, until i ran out of space.

Yes, if the message is not very important. But if the message is important, I will send it to my archive and keep it up to 30 days and then after I know that message is no longer important I will delete it also.

I usually delete those useless messages like phone company promotions, one time reminders and other miscelleanous messages. However, I will keep those meaningful messages and encouraging quotes from friends, love ones and family members. This is for me when I need to have a pick me up, besides storage for me is never an issue as I have so much storage memory with my smartphone.

In my email I delete those not important ones. I even saved those that are of importance and mails that can help me in a way, reference materials. Same with my inbox on my cell phone. I saved items that I like and those coming from my friends and loved ones. I am a sentimental person and I like to read and re-read nice quotes from them.

I an just like you. I imediately delete the message after i have read. i also empty the recycle bin as soon as i delete something. i think that i have this habit and if i dont do that i dont feel comfortable. I dont like unwanted messages in my inbox. its kind of an obsession for me.

I delete the messages if they are just a casula coversation and nothing of any importance however, I saved messages that I find worth keeping like a message from my husband or a quote that I find truly inspiring. There are some text messages in my phone dated 2005! In the enxt coming months, I will delete some of it since it's way too old already.

it purely depends on the importance of the msg, if i feel it worth for future reference then i keep it or else i will delete after reading
