Easter decorations

The last couple of days Ive put some decorations up for Easter. I put a pretty wreath on my door and a little easter tree and you hang little eggs on them. I got it at the hallmark store. I also have alot of bunnies too. I normally do have bunnies around because I love them. I think they are cute. Have you put anything around your house yet for Easter?

No, once again I probably won't have my decorations because they are still packed away..(you can tell what is important to my husband, the first Christmas he made sure to get those decorations, but for Easter, when the weather is not so cold, he still won't get the Easter box..

Oh, I am sorry Terry, I have medicine head today and forgot that you may not know this, but a couple of years ago, we were on the verge of losing our home and so we packed up all non-essentials and moved them into a friends barn a few miles away..So not really easy to get to, especially when my husband has the car most of the day and I am not going into a barn at night..lol I just hope that most of the Easter stuff had made it, with the baskets and grass, that would have made great bedding for mice..

The only thing our family does for Easter is give out Easter eggs, that's it, it's not like Christmas, and apart from having two extra bank holidays it's no different. I never send Easter cards, I receive a couple though, but it's just an ordinary weekend. I can't believe it only seems like five minutes that it was Christmas, and now already it's Easter on the horizon, mind you it is early this year xxx

When is Easter again?
I have not even thought of Easter let alone buying any Easter eggs Terry. I know I need to because my son reminded me yesterday and I told him to wait until Daddy gets home. I don't have anything Eastery (if that is a word) to put anywhere in our apartment LOL
Maybe I'll try the dollar shop next time we go by.

ok I'll make a note on my calendar - need to buy some easter eggs and hide them and then map our where they are so my son can have fun finding them :)

Awww, that sounds so cute Terry!...My stuff is still boxed somewhere down here in the basement so I haven't put anything out yet. I love bunnies too, they're sooo cute. I'll have to unpack a few boxes to see where my stuff is for Easter. Thanks for reminding me, lol!

The only holiday I decorate for is Christmas so no Easter decos here.

That sounds so cute sweetheart! I haven't decorated for easter, in fact I very rarely do. I tend to do things a bit differently - I don't get my kids chocolate eggs , I buy them gifts and get them new outfits! I guess it is my way of celebrating Jesus returning from the grave! xxx

I have tons in storage boxes that I haven't gotten out...but on the dining room table I have two bunnies with a basket inbetween and it's filled with the plastic eggs that you can pull apart and fill....and monday night my little granddaughter, her daddy and I dyed easter eggs. They were intended to be decorations but she really like eating them! LOL

I have a few things for Easter decorations but since we don't have anybody but my parents to visit us, it seems to be a waste of time to decorate because no one is going to see it but us so I'm thinking of having a small yard sale this spring when it gets a little warmer and selling all of my holiday decorations except for my Christmas stuff. I haven't decided yet but am leaning more towards getting rid of them.

I haven't done the "Easter" thing in a long time. Not since I found out that Easter was also a Pagan tradition.
