A friend of mine was telling me about her child. She found out he was ADHD. She tried medications that didn't work, and other suggestions that would try to help her with parenting as well. Another fact she found out was that children with ADHD are more successful by working with computers when it comes to learning rather than on paper. She gave me this website when I mentioned that my son was having problems in school now as well and I would like to share it with any of you that would like to use it as well. This website asks for a year fee which is $30 I think and I would spend that little on my child because he's worth it. When I checked the website I found free things on here too so I"m not sure why they charge for yearly memberships. Please use this website if you need to! http://www.abcteach.com

Thanks for sharing the website with us. I have just finished looking at it and it looks like they have a lot of really neat things on there for children. My son also has ADHD so any and all help is always greatly appreciated. Best of luck with your son. I hope you can find something that can help him do better at school.

Hi speedy, My son has not been properly diagnosed with ADHD yet but I feel he shows symptoms sometimes. After the first parent teacher's meeting with his teacher I told her I would take him to his doctor and get him a physical. We did that, and his doctor asked me what the school was doing about it, and then asked me if they had a child psycholigist, and if they did then to call him back because the ones that my son's doctor would consider referring, would cost us between $600-$1000. So when I wrote my son's teacher a note asking if they had any child psychologists, she phoned me and said I was taking this way too serious and my son was not at this point and she didn't think he really needed this. So talk about confusing the hell out of me??? Now i just let him drive her bananas because I really don't know what she expects from my son or what she wants? Anyways, yes so I figured this website maybe will help my son whatever he's having problems with and I know it's not with math because he's amazing with that part but it's just Language Arts that he's not liking. Thanks for your comment
