Do you own your life?

Look at the flowers and the trees! - Sometimes, we wonder, why other living matters are not worried as we are.

When you subtract out the sleeping time, commuting time, working time, and time for things you have to do each and everyday of your life, most people don't have more than one or two hours each day to do what they like to do. So, what do you think?

I'm a mom of 4. What time isn't taken up by sleeping, working, etc is taken up by them. They dictate when I get to sleep and for how long, what chores I have to do that day, when we are having dinner and a lot of times what we are eating. The only time I have me time is when I take me time to find someone with enough time to take them off of my hands. lol That was a mouthful.

You made me chuckle. Thanks. Yes, you really need to give them your time. But its an accomplishment made by your for love.

You may be right, that's why we should try to find something we enjoy in most of our "necessary activities". This approach will make us think that we own our lives, as you say, since we are doing what we like, and what it needs to be done. It's not such a quantitative matter, but more a qualitative one...Depending on your needs and on the status of meeting them, the "time for yourself" could mean more or less, but it sure gains more than a little bit with this approach...
