Have any of you reported your income from sites such as MyLot and Associated Content when you were filing your taxes? Do any of you know how one might go about doing this? I know this doesn't apply to those of you who are international, but I'm just curious.

I am international, but I guess for Americans there should be a slot where you record other income.

As other people have pointed out, unless you make $600 or more, comapanies to not report your earnings to Uncle Sam. Once you hit that magic number however, you will get a 1099 form, and will need to claim the income on your tax forms. Technically you are recquired to claim your income regardless of whether or not it is actually reported to the government, but I doubt that many (if any) people do this. If you were to claim your income, it would be claimed and miscelanneous income, and no you cannot deduct your internet connection costs and untilities as another poster commented; unless you wanted to be audited...

I think there is a minimum amount that you have to hit before you have to file or claim it. I can't remember the exact number of the form but you can stop by your local library as they stock almost all the forms that you need to file and you can ask them for the form that you might need.
