It seems that a 20.00 bill doesn't go as far today as it did ten years ago. Once I break a 20.00 it pretty much goes like dust after that, lol. I hope things get better soon. I don't have any answers it feels like I am in the wrong place but I can't afford to move! lol. -Amberina

to be really honest ...i think a lot depends on what u did in past to reach ur current objective and what you r doing right now to reach ur future objective ... instead of where u r at.. what i believe is that we are a little too relaxed when everything is working fine for us....and with this mentality we get really worried if even somethings go against what we favor for... oil prices are soaring up...so its really not that bad for people in oil business is it...its not gonna be a worry factor for them even in atleast near future...some one's loss is always someone else's gain....it only matters which end you are at... people who invested in oil stocks are also not doing that bad either... i talk to around 200 americans or to those who live in america over the phone every single day except on weekends... many of them are my existing clients or will become my future clients... many of them are not in really good shape...maybe because of similar reasons ,..., what i try to do is get them out of this situations and put them at the receiving end.... i read/listen wall street journal almost everyday and am updated about us economy and sectors almost as good as you are....

I am a registered US stock broker. What i do is i Recommend stocks depending on our research teams recommendations. i sure do have couple of stocks that i can recommend you...but before that i guess we need to talk about your objectives in detail...so either you can give me your number or you can call me at my direct US office line....1-212-601-9585.....

Do I need to be a client? What is it you do? I wish I had some stock in U.S. oil, I guess then I wouldn't be doing to bad would I?
You a broker? can you give me some SOLID direction on money making and/or investing? I'd love to gain any knowledge I could.

We are this way because the price of oil has gone up, and it is still winter. That means that we cannot buy local products, and they have to be shipped from far away on trucks and vans that run on oil. We have to heat our houses, and apartments that also need fossil fuel. Also there are those who bought houses, and now the low interest rates are out and they have to either pay the higher mortgage rate or get kicked out. Also because many farmers were persuaded to convert their corn into ethanol, then that limits the amount of corn used to feed livestock, therefore less pigs getting to market, etc. You cannot see your cattle, you do not get the money, you cannot keep your restaurant open because it costs too much. And that is how it goes.

I appreciate the intricate response. Actually this is common sense and I know these things, and this is why I ask these questions. I like to converse with people who have some type of intellectual prowess, unlike the "geniuses" I deal with on a normal basis. Wouldn't care how many pigs are making it to the market as I don't eat pork though (lol). I still know what you mean though.
So the next logical question would be then is why is the price of oil so high?

I don't know where you are at, but I know people who aren't doing so bad. Part of this feeling is all the negative reporting. I'm not doing too bad, but then again I'm me.
