ranked 13th in Paranormal at the moment I am writing this. Sweetly ironic and pleasing to me! Is there any way to lock in that ranking? I don't really care about the rankings on here other than this.

The only way to really keep it is keep responding to and starting to discussions under that interest. I don't think the level you're at itself is likely to go down, but the rank you have out of other users will fluctuate based on activity. I have a couple of rankings I'm kind of proud of, and I'm always trying to work on those!

I should work on my own rank in paranormal! I'm 59... eek! It's funny because I talk about things that could be classified as paranormal a lot, but I'm more likely to put them under religion or paganism.

Sounds good. Of course, now I've gone up in ranking! I guess I should slow down on this Topic if I want to stay at 13.

you can reply to most topics tagged under the topics you wanted to have a good ranking on. create more discussions too and i believe you will be able to rank even better :)

I wonder if there is a base number of people that have to be in a Topic first?

I have no idea how to lock in rankings, but I'm wondering the same thing as you. I'm ranked in I believe 6 different topics, and one of those I'm ranked #1. I would guess that you keep putting in your input on those topics, and be one of the top discussors, but that's just my reasoning and guessing.

Thanks. Sometimes I wonder if there is any sense to MyLot's "numbers"
