In my opinion, I love the Final Fantasy 12 battle system.. once you use to the Gambit system you might think that you don't have to do anything and just watch the battle.. you're wrong.. the Gambit system is only the way to assign your party members on what to do next and focus on what they do best.. the main thing about the Gambit system is your own strategy and tactics.. if you don't have these two.. you might as well think how far can you survive in Ivalice.. even if all your party members are in level 99 you have to think twice before you encounter a marlboro.. its gonna give you a hard time if you don't use tactics and strategy..

I personally think FFX has best system. I think because, 1. u are better off because swapping characters between battles is good in giving u a fighting chance. Some battles are tough and its a good way of kicking butt. 2. The actual fact that Aeon's can fight and not jsut appear is awesome. they ahve their own MP and HP is awesome. It give u a chance to broaden your horizons and your fanship of the Franchise. It also gives u a chance to use your favourite summons and aeons like Ifrit and Bahamut but also with new ones like Valafor and Ixion.

First off, welcome to Mylot! I guess you like Final Fantasy if your very first post is in the subject lol. I love that game too. Personally, I like the ones that use MP. Drawing magic got really boring after the first 20 or so minutes, plus it is hard to use the magic when it's stocked to a character. In FF8, I hardly ever used magic. Just regular attacks, GFs and Limit Breaks. I liked FFX battle system because you can switch between characters in battle and that is really fun figuring out which character is good against whichever enemy you're facing. I like learning abilities through weapons and armor like you can in FF9 and Tactics Advanced. They should come up with a battle system that uses all three of those good things lol. As for weapons, FF9, FFX, FF12 and Tactics are the good games for that. That is because they have the best selection and variation of weapons.
