If you were to write a book (and maybe you already have?) what would it be about? I have no idea what my book would be about, I keep thinking it would have to be a book of anecdotes from my life... but I am not sure that would be very interesting. Well, maybe it would be something to do if only for my children.

I have actually started a few books. One is of my poetry that I have been writing for several years. The other one is the start of a romance novel. And last but not least, I am also writing a book on personal experiences that I have been through to help others that go through the same thing. Don't worry about who to write it for, just sit down and take the initial move of writing. It might turn out better than you expect and you could end up selling it for a good income.

if i were to write a book , it would be a children's book just like "the little prince" because it may look like a children's book but it has a lot of wisdom in it. i would like to make it simple where any kid can relate to and adults, as well.

ah, you like to write allegories ! I used to as well - in school when we were given compositions to write they usually turned out to be allegories, even though I did not know what an allegory was back then.

Taking up an "Interesting subject" that one is sure of, would fetch good ideas to start with. Like, my favourite subject 'Music and enjoyment' on which I want to write a book. Yes, I have sometime back read a book titled 'Anecdotes from life" ( I can not remember one now !!!). To make it the way you want : 1) Introuducing why & how the impact of Anecdotes made in your own life (2) Inspirations you got from it (3) Analysing the best Anectotes - a simple comparison (4) Talking about some person who both preached and followed (5) Your own Anacdotes (6)Include my comments as a preface !!!. Simple, humor presentation would be attractive. Effort is the best Fort that everybody can afford to look forward.

It is a great idea to start writing a book! I think you should do it if you really wnat to. You don't need to think too much about wheather it will be interesting for someone or not, do it just for yourself. And after you finish it you will know what to do next. People always underestimate themselves and give up too early. Do what you want to do first and after you did it you will move to the next step.

i finally wrote a book, and since my ba was in social science, it has sociological content about current american society and its issues. although it is fiction, the ideas, situations, places, and people are all real, but i changed names and fictionalized everything. the skeleton of my novel is from a anecdotes of my life, but i added a lot of fiction to it in order to make it more interesting than it really is, similar to some of these tabloid magazines. The Sand Dollar by Fifi Leigh at lulu.com, check it out and tell me what it sounds like...

I love writing about life experience. It doesn't have to be non-fiction but the best books out there are books that the writer has a good knowledge of.... Two examples... John Grisham and Tom Clancy. Grisham was a lawyer and most of his books involve lawyers... actually all of them up until 'A Painted House'. Clancy is a war buff who writes stories that are based on factual information. Both of these people are people who write on what they know. Thanks Zelo

and who is that fellow James somebody begins with an M... he wrote books like Hawaii and Alaska. and there was a lecturer at the earliest years of the 1900s who wrote wonderful books on his travels - full of marvelous photographs and engravings - history, adventure.... his name was John L. Stoddard if you ever have an opportunity to purchase some of his works I would highly recommend them, I think you would thoroughly enjoy.

I have never wrote a book and wouldn't know where to start or what to do, but the topic I would pick would be the life of a child growing up. I had the most lousy childhood and if I could bring awareness in promoting a normal happy childhood to as many children as possible, that would bring me happiness.

I have no idea what my book would be about. Maybe all the crazy things that have happened to me in my life. I have had some doozies that's for sure and from what people say, I have had way more interesting events in my life than most people do in their entire lifetime. LOL

if I were to write a book, I will write a topic which has something to do with business or entrepreneurship. It will be a book to inspire people to become entrepreneurs and I will run stories of successful businesses and once failed businesses but later managed to make it a success.

well its a love story but a wild one. Two people date all through highschool they date until college then have a horrible breakup and go seperate ways. They dont hear or speak of each other for years. But concidentally their kids attend the same highschool and fall in love, its about the unapproval from the parents and so on..

If I were to right a book, I think it would be about my father. It's not going to be a biography but some anecdotes, quotations, jokes, words of wisdom, his fashion style, his music, his photography skills and his funny remarks. My father has a very fantastic personality. He never gets tired of learning new things and sharing them to us. His sense of humor is well known to all his peers and friends. My working title would be "Remembering, Betoy".

What a great way to honor your father! I should like to do the same. My father was such a witty and humorous man. Plus as loyal and charitable as they come.

If I was to write a book ,that would be about some anecdotes I knew ,or I had experenced in my life,or some thoughts I think about life ,peple. So that one day I can leave my book to my children, even if I was gone, they can still feel my thoughts.

I have written one novel which is on the shelf waiting for revisions since I have learned a great deal since I finished it a couple of years ago. I am almost finished my second novel, though an agent recently told me it is too short so I still have some work to do to make it a little longer. Actually, a lot longer - DOUBLE the number of words. That isn't going to be easy. I already have ideas for other books including one on my life with fibromyalgia. I get ideas from things that happen in real life, especially stuff on Dr. Phil. There are some great stories there that can be made into full novels. Now to find the time.

Well, I am writing a book right now. I am writing two novels, to make it exact. The first novel is a fiction novel, mainly fantasy. It's the same typical condition with other 'human to fairy' sort of novels. The second novel is in my native language--Tagalog (the language here in the Philippines). It is a romance novel which targets mainly the teens. If I would write a book about myself, I would rather compile the stuffs that I wrote (like a portfolio) so that all the stuffs that I have made and have experienced would be remembered.

After my mom passed away, I thought about doing this for my girls and still plan to one day. So they would have something to share with their kids. My mom only lived long enough to see my daughters at age 8 and 3, I want to be able to share with their kids some of their antics and memories.

In the past I dreamed to write a science fiction book because I am interested in this aspect. I started a little bit only and later I gave it up because of study. As to other kinds of books, I am afraid I don't have this talent. A science fiction book depends on the imagination so it may be easier.
