it's all about the HAIR

Millions of dollars are spent by Americans (men and women regardless of age) in hair products alone. That is why, manufacturing companies are spending millions too for research, out-sourcing, and manufacturing of hair products to take advantage of the consumers.
In the groceries or department store, an entire isle is dedicated to hair products alone. The price, ingredients and benefits found in the different products are so competitive too giving consumers a hard time to make a vital decision which hair product to buy and use.
It's all about the hair, so they say. Yes, it's just the hair but for women, it is our crowning glory. Back in high school, my hair was the reason why I always came late to school and ended up cleaning the hallway as punishment.
But I am not surprised either that men are now taking advantage of this indulgence too. I can see more men going in the saloon now instead of the regular barber shop for a simple hair cut. Men too wanted their hair shampooed and conditioned before a hair cut. That is why manufacturing companies came out with their exclusive products.
Are you very particular about your hair too? Are you like me who have a regular hair apppointment with a hair-dresser? Are you stocking your dresser with lots of hair products from shampoo to hair gel? Can you leave the house without combing your hair? Are you daring with hair style?

At one time in my life, I too spent hours on my hair and often got to school late because of it. As I've gotten older, I've cut back on the hair care more and more until now it's just wash, simple style and go. I have very long hair, past my butt; and I found the more products I was putting in my hair the less healthy it looked. I slowly gave up gel, mousse, hair spray and the curling iron; and now my hair looks healthy without much fuss. I don't wash it daily anymore, and I switched to the 'no poo' method of washing with baking soda and apple cider vinegar a few months back. It works awesome, and there's no harsh chemicals in my hair.

Hi ruth.. I am not that so particular with my hair though I am choosy with my shampoo and conditioner. I stick to my shampoo and conditioner way back home since I easily get dandruff with some various hair products. I have a long hair and sometimes cut them short during summer. My boyfriend likes me more with my long hair because I look like a teenager with my hair short. I dont use gel, wax or any hair products. I like my hair the way it is, but at present I use some hair coloring for a change I guess.

Well, I think it won't harm if you could try to style your hair every chance you get. I was dreaming of having a makeover too someday you know.

I see, well, even if there are lots of products around here, I don't want to experiment with them anyway because I am afraid that I might lose my hair in the end.
Thanks.
Thanks.
