Do you always send greeting cards to your loved ones? If so, do you go through the verse to see it matches the recipient?

Yes i also have a habit of sending greeting cards to family members, but i do it as a formality, so i just pick the first card that looks good n send it away.. ppl who r really close i prefer sending them a proper email rather than an e-card.. i think that an email will mean more rather than e-card

There are a lot of cards with very nice and beautiful sayings. So i choose one spending a lot of time which my hubby hates. (LOL)

If they stay with me, then no. I would buy them a meal or get them presents. If they live far, then perhaps.

If I am going to see the person then I will not especially buy a Birthday Card, unless it is for a significant birthday (21st, 30th etc) that is because I will have a card to go with the present. When I do buy cards, I will read the verse and try to get something that suits them rather than a bland 'Happy Birthday' type greeting. :)

Thanks for your input. In my family, birthday card is a must. Everybody look forward for receiving a specific card. If you dont give one, they'll be quite upset. You know, my hubby sometimes give 2-3 cards to our kids. They are all different verses. I also get 2-3 cards from him now. Before we are married, he gave me about 5 cards with different words and pictures. He's sweet that way.

i always send birthday cards, whether thru snail mail, internet, or in person. and yes, i'm very particular about the message of the card, that's why it always take me a long time browsing thru the greeting cards section coz i'd like to get a card that says most of what i'd like to convey. people close to me know that, and they know every card sent is special and from my heart :)

Yes I try to send my loved ones cards for most occassions. And I do read a LOT of cards before I send them. I want it to be meaningful to them.

I would buy homemade greeting cards on eBay. Most of the time I would purchase blank cards so I can put my own sayings in it, especially for my in-laws in France and New Caledonia. I love cards!

If I don't send a card by mail, I'll usually be sure to send and E-card. I feel it's really important to acknowledge a loved ones birthday and at Holidays.

I send greeting cards and I try to make sure the verse matches the person. It's often hard.

I sent a birthday card out to my aunt today. I had to cross out a word or to but I made it fit her personality.
