We have ever landed on the moon, or not?

In 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first man ever landed on the moon, and won America enormously great glory in the space race against USSR. But later, as the photos taken on the surface of moon were revealed by the NASA, speculations arose. People have serious argument about the authenticity of those photos and some even say its the biggest deception ever in human history which has mocked the people of this planet for decades. Supporters and opponents raise evidence to convince each other. The truth is veiled in secrecy, for so far, NASA has never ever made a statement in responding to the questioning. China is about to launch its Taikongnauts explore the moon later. If the Chinese Taikongnauts ever find that America's landing in 1969 is indeed a fraud, do you think it will speak it out publicly or would it help NASA with it? And have you ever doubt the authenticity of that landing in 1969?

If America ever faked the moon landing, I'm pretty sure Russia would have made a stink about it soon afterwards. As it is, the people who would be the most compelled to call foul - Russia - has never questioned the authenticity of our landing. If they have no problem with it, even after visiting the moon, I'm pretty sure there's no question that we went there. Usually the people who raise the question about the authenticity of our landing, do so with a half understanding of the science behind it. There arguments come from their knowledge of physics, but the real physicists and professionals tend to squash their arguments. I know we went to the moon. We have evidence our landing which has not yet, and probably never will be, disproven.

Yeah, I am also curious that why USSR didn't disprove America's moon landing right after the news was released, they two were bitter enemies. But there might be consideration that denouncing America's accomplishments in the space exploration would deteriorate the already frozen Russia-US relations. Or there might be something considerations that will forever be sealed in the history metal box. I sincerely believe the American people did land on the moon several times. But it's still interesting to hear different opinions, though ridiculous they may seem.

No, no one has "serious argument." They have half-baked nonsense. We've landed on the moon--the moon hoax claim is pure nonsense. Good debunking: http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html

I really appreciate your prompt reply. I do think American astronaut really did reached the moon, without the slightest doubt. But I am not very sure if the first landing was indeed a complete success as NASA had described. Some maintain that it was half a success. I really don't know, and I have never done a serious investigation into this matter. So I don't think I am on the position to identify it. Lovely to hear your views, and thanks for your interesting website.

Absolutely, the Apollo astronauts went to the Moon. Not only were there detailed still photos, films and videos made (with a level of authenticity that even modern Hollywood films can't match) but laser reflectors were left on the Moon, the spacecraft telemetry was monitored by several different nations (including the USSR), and most importantly all those moon rocks and soil samples were brought back - samples that were chemically unlike anything found on Earth. I'm not the first one to have said it, but it's still true - the only thing harder than going to the Moon would have been faking it.
