Do Simon and Ryan Seacrest hate each other in real life?

Simon and Ryan always seem to be at each others throats on camera. Do you think they are just pretending? Or, do you think they really dislike one and other?
Personally, I feel they have a personality conflict and really don't care for each other in real life either.
Who agrees?
Who disagrees and why?
Thanks for reading and responding!

I don't think they hate eachother. They usually laugh at their little "fights" and I think they have a lot of fun with it. I don't think either of them really feels the way they act, I defeniatly think it's a couple of friends trying to have fun with eachother.

Thanks for your input.
You could be right. The other night when Simon had on the long sleeve white shirt and Ryan told him to button it up, it seemed that Simon was very irritated and started saying "That is inappropriate."
He also rolls his eyes alot and seems to be looking down on Ryan alot.

It's a total act between friends actually. They vacation together and they're best friends. I'm not even BSing you, they're always seen going on double dates and vacations. Simon will tell anyone how good of friends they are.

I think it is just a act that they pull on American Idol. They are really good friends. Of course Ryan adds to that when American Idol goes off for the evening and he says thank you to Randy and Paula and skips Simon.

It's funny you should say that because I've been wondering if they are gay and like each other! I think it's all just good natured kidding!

Watching how they interacted last year on the charity function and away from the set of American Idol I got some real insight on how they really feel. I believe they are real good friends and good friends can get away with belittling each other in the way they do. It is purely for color and entertainment. Simon really does play the "bad guy" role pretty well doesn't he? Then Ryan is the master at the one line disses! It really makes for some great entertainment and besides how else do you get through a two hour show with only 12 singers singing an average of 2 minutes apiece? Sure would be a heck of a lot more commercials than there are already!

I think this is just an act and they are probably really good friends. I think they just like to tease each other on the show to keep others wondering, but actually I feel these 2 are a very vital part of the show, and they help make the show what it is today.

I read that they are very good friends, and lots of this stuff is just put on for entertainment value.

I have noticed that too but I think those are most probably acted out in order to add more flavor to the show. Unless, it would just be a normal singing competition. By doing that, they have managed to add more drama to the whole show.
