Fashion tights, do or don't.

I live in the UK, I feel I should tell you this first to let you know that my dress sense may be slightly different from where you live.
I love fashion tights, I have all the colours you could imagine plus I have a couple of designed ones.
I wear them whenever I want to dress up a little and sometimes I just wear them simply with all black or choose to co-ordinate or clash the colours with the other things I wear.
Some people think that my fashion is so great that strangers ask me where I purchased certain items but some people stare at me like I am a freak. I don't care though cos generally I am better dressed than them.
What is your opinion though on these fashion tights? Do you think they look great? Do you hate them? Do you wear them yourself?
Obviously if you are a man I don't want to hear about your passion for cross dressing (I can think of a few on here already) but just let me know what you think of girls in them.
And in case you are wondering - Todays colour is turquoise.

They're the only ones I'll wear as I don't like tights but sometimes you need them to go with the rest of your outfit.
The only colour I'd never wear are those tan ones yuck.

I never really understood the purpose of those tan tights. If your legs ain't pretty enough to be worn bare then they certainly ain't gonna look good through some tan nylon.

Exactly and if you're going to wear tights go for it and make a fashion statement or complement the rest of your outfit.
I don't tan but I still would rather show my milk bottle legs than wear those tan tights1 person likes this

hey even i like lots of colors but since my friends use to mock me i don't use to wear or buy such kind of dress and i am not brave enough to buy one and getting embarrassed...so i don't buy but i love that there is another person like me and thats you..

i know its hard to wear thing that you like when others make fun of you
In high school i got made fun of a lot for not dressing in some name brands and stuff like that now i just done care !!! I wear what i want and if i see something at walmart i like i will buy it i dont care

You ain't likee me if you don't have the confidence to wear to wear them. Why don't you?
You should have the confidence to wear whatever you damn well like. I never care what other people think. As long as I look pretty in the way the I want to then I don't care.

Honestly i dont like them nor do wear them but everyone has there own opioins :)
I really dont think i dress great because im bot the type to dress up at all
I wear mostly jeans and hoodies or tee's

I haven't worn coloured tights in YEARS. Back in the 80's I had a set of "knee highs" in all sorts of colours... yellow, peacock blue, purple, red, etc. Those were GREAT. I loved them so, even though I only wore them with jeans lol.
I think it's great that you have so much fun with your wardrobe. I don't see too many gals around here wearing different coloured tights, but then again, it's still really cold out, and most gals aren't wearing skirts just yet.

Ha ha well I know Scotland can't be as cold as where you are but it is still pretty cold.
I never seem to feel the cold though. My Mum says there is something wrong with me ha ha ha.
I love wearing my tights with a long wooley jumper.

I don't feel the cold on my legs as much as on my arms. My feet are another story.. gotta make sure I'm wearing warm shoes or boots this time of year.
Thankfully the weather is said to be getting milder this week. Hopefully that means all of the snow we got dumped on us last week will melt away. And good riddance to it too!

I don't cross dress (well not so as I would admit to) but I do feel that a well chosen pair of tights or stockings can enhance a woman's legs. I love bright colours, reds and oranges make me feel cheerful. I do so agree with your comments about American Tan though. They really do make legs look ugly. A very high denier tight in a city suit or a little black dress is also very sexy.

I love em, I only have a few pair, but I wear em w/ skirts when its cold out. I live in small town usa, so I used to get many looks too, now they know me and just yeah that would be her, then I find others wearing them too.
