People I am Desperate here...

I have just taken a look. A couple of things I would say: 1. I like the look of the content (must be a bloke thing) 2. I am not a big fan of dark backgrounds on websites. I prefer a light background (take a look at my site (see my mylot hompage) 3. You are only using a very narrow space down the centre of the page - maybe look at widening the page size of making the page auto-fit the page to the screen to get the best use of the screen estate.
