Even if they are driving you up a wall, at least they are there. Here's a news story from my area that will explain where I'm coming from. He may not have been my kid and I didn't even know him but it's hard to think about.... http://www.thedailyreview.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=19386887&BRD=2276&PAG=461&dept_id=465049&rfi=6

I hug my adult/teen and tween kids every single chance I get. You never know what may happen the next day or even the next minute. My youngest son is in huge trouble right now and he was just telling me last night when I hugged and kissed him good night that he loves me most because no matter how much trouble he is in, I always love him. Thanks for pointing out the article!

A 12 year old girl was murdered and left by the river for a couple weeks before they found her here. I have a 12 year old girl too and know how you are feeling right now. We all want to hold our babies close to us when things like this happen. I am sorry for your community and his family. So sad.

Thanks for sharing that with us. I agree with you, even if they are driving us nuts....at least they are there with us. Life is so short and we just never know when or what day will be our last day...or the last day of our loved ones. We must cherish each and every day and make sure our loved ones know we love them, don't just say it, show it with our actions. Thanks again for sharing, have a great day!

Yes, thanks for sharing. Often it takes misfortune to make us reappreciate what we have.
