this is for the londoners! pets dogs on public transport

on my way to a busy meeting with me mates i jumped on the bus. i was so nackered i really needed to sit. with no seats downstairs for me to sit on i wen upstairs. I was really furious what i found upstairs the bus. there was only 1 seat left and guess what?, there was a dog seated on it with the owner next to it. i requested to sit down but instead i got an insult as a reply. and the dog won't just shut up. Now guys tell me do you think its sociable enough to keep a dog pet on the bus cos its becoming a fashion in London where teenagers get on public transport with their dog pets making noise. this is not the only occassion where people keep standing on public transport for pet dogs especially to remain seated. What do you think? Correct me if i am wrong! i think its very wrong and must not be allowed

Guess it was right for the dog and his carer, however yes quite inconsiderate.I do envy Londoner's,here in Australia restrictions on dogs are very stringent, only disabled persons may have a pet accompany them on transport etc.

yes and i think that is the right thing to do! cos sometimes some of these dogs are very irritating and make noise! u know! guide dogs kow what they are about but not home trained dogs! i've a friend who's child won't stop crying when he sees some of these dogs

I think it is wrong for dogs to be allowed unless the person is blind. It was inconsiderate of that person to not allow you to sit there but let his dog sit. Over here in the US i think it depends on the different bus systems.
