I like to scrub all of the sinks in my house, and than shine the up with Windex. I learned about doing this from I think Flylady.net or .com It seems to make the kitchen look nicer :) I also love the mr clean Erasor. That thing is great to clean with!.

My daughter likes that erasor too. I don't like to use a sponge tho, I have to have a rag. I like to use spray cleaners too.

I love those Mr. Clean thingy's too..Especially on the countertops. I remember flylady...she is the one that told you to put your dishes in a bucket under the sink until you could get to them. I never got to mine..forgot all about them. Out of site out of mind. But I did get dressed right down to my shoes..lol

I always clean the bathroom with rubber gloves, a lot of liquid bleach, and an old toothbrush. I find it therapeutic to do it that way. Slow, hard work, but relaxing.

I'm always amazed at the handy uses I can find for a 'retired' toothbrush.

I use old toothbrushes for lots of things as well. I like to use a spray cleaner tho. One that smells nice, not bleachy.

That's ok too -- my sister always says, "In twenty years what will it matter how my house looks today?"

Totally a clean and neatness freak...tips...keep your decorating simple for a clean, minimalistic overall view....I am constantly running orange or lemons remains through my garbage disposal, which helps leave a nice fresh scent throughout the kitchen...I'm kind of with one of the other posters in that I am a real fan of windex...use it to shine not only the sinks, but to go over all my kitchen appliances and bath fixtures to make them gleam...and in the kitchen (OK thats where our food is handled I like my kitchen x-tra clean lol) I daily pull the drip pans from my stove eyes and run them through the dishwasher to keep them sparkling

I haven't used Windex as much as you all except for windows -- I'll have to give it a shot.

My husband is Felix Unger. He would clean from sun up to sun down. He complains when I don't do something. When I do, he complains that I didn't do it right. I give up.

Well i am sort of a person very particular about cleaniness but in a different way.I can't really explain it.I tend to feel uneasy when someone enters my house.I don't like other people entering my house. It's not cool.

Honey, you need help! It sounds like you have some issues you need to work out before you become one of those people who never leave their home.

Absolutely yes!!! I have got to have a clean and tidy house. You never know when someone is going to pop round and because I have a dog that sheds a carpet every day I make sure that the house is as clean as can be. It all started when I fell pregnant - I made sure that everything was clean and hygeinic for the baby! Now I think Ive become a little obsessed with it!!

It's easy to become obsessed when there's a new baby involved! Good luck to you and yours.

Well, I personally am not a Neat freak, and usually wait until I feel it is time to straighten up, but for me, I find the best Tip is if you are wanting to have your house straightened up like say for company, or the Holidays... take it one step at a time. Pick a room, and clean the areas that are the easiest to get too first, and then tackle the other jobs. If it is a long task, make sure to take breaks. But work at a pace that is productive for you, and make you feel Good with what you have accomplished for that day.

A good strategy. I usually try to pick up everything when the kids go to bed at night and then work on a "project" like cleaning a certain room really well. I have even made my kids sleep in my room so I can clean theirs!

I'm not a neat freak, I have 3 toddlers. But in order to clean your microwave: use a small glass mixing bowl with a few tablespoons of baking soda. Place in microwave for about 10 minutes. After the timer goes off wait about 2 minutes. Wipe clean.

I wish I was, but with my family it would kill me trying to keep up. Our home is always clean, but well lived in.Nothing ever stays in it's place for long. I hate when I walk into these homes where everything is perfectly arranged and in its place, not a speck of dust anywhere. I want my house to be like that. Impossible!!
