9 year old saves mom from attacker!!

35 year old man breaks into the home of a man whom he had been in a fight with earlier in the evening. Starts stabbing the mother. Her son hears her screaming and goes to her bedroom. Seeing his mother being stabbed, 9 year old Nathan Thompson jumps on the mans back. This startled the intruder mother and son get away. Man gets 8 1/2 year sentence. That is one brave kid.

Reminds me of a time when my daughter jumped on my father. He was choking her nephew who had stolen the TV remote. She jumped on my dad's back and tried to protect her cousin. I thought that was really noble.
Of course, in the case you mention, the kid dis the 'right' thing and was really lucky. He might have been stabbed himself but who would not come to the rescue of their mother?

Yes indeed, that is one brave kid. I'm amazed at his courage. I have a 9 yr old boy, and I think he would have hid under the bed (Love the boy, but he has some fear issues)
