I have a little girl and it is so hard for me to get her to go to sleep at 7:00pm, instead she goes to be at 12:00, so i was wondering how can I get her to go to bed at 7:00 or 8:00

Try putting her down for an earlier nap during the day. That way she will be ready for bed earlier. You can also put her in bed with a movie. Make the rules that she cant get up, and the light has to stay off during the movie. many times that puts kiddos to sleep. Start this at 9pm or so, then gradually move to 8, and so on. Good luck.

Thanks so much, I will have to try that, my little girl hates to sleep, but maybe if I let her watch a cartoon in bed with the lights off maybe she would fall asleep, thanks for replying

Not a problem. A little boy I used to watch always watched the Wiggles before nap time. He felt lost if he couldnt watch his show! Silly I know. Another option is to get on of those lights that shine up on the wall with different shapes, or animals. Then when you turn off the light, your daughter will only see the light design on the ceiling, I have seen this work. Where they stare at the ceiling watching the different shapes or such move around, and before you know it they are asleep! I remember being told when I was younger, if I couldnt fall asleep, to find a place on the wall or wherever and stare at it and it only. This for some reason makes you sleepy, and you fall asleep without thinking about it. This little light design does the same thing for kids with out them know about it! Sorry for the long response, I just though of this other idea when I was looking at your response. Good luck and keep us updated on what time she gets to sleep.
