Since I'm on a beauty product kick and being nosy, I was just wondering about where you buy your beauty products.
The majority of my makeup and skin care comes from the drug store but I do love Lancome powder, eyeshadow, mascara. It is expensive but once in awhil I spend the big money on it. Other than that I get my beauty supplies at Walmart.
How about you where do you buy the majority of your beauty products and what are some of your most favorite??
Thanks for reading!

I usually don't buy beauty products for myself. In fact, I don't even wear make-up unless it is a special occasion. When I do buy make-up, which is usually for my little sister, I buy it from a department store, mainly Wal-Mart. I work there, and get an additional 10% off all merchandise that is not food. It also makes it easier when I'm just getting off work to grab stuff before I leave, so I tend to do most of my shopping there.

Nice a discount at Wal mart..just when you thought Wal mart couldn't get any cheaper. I would be in trouble with any discount at Walmart I would never stop shopping! Thanks for stopping by! :)

For the most part I buy my makeup from Rite Aid and Target. I like Loreal's Bare naturals foundation and blush. I can't wear eyeshadow because I am allergic to every color. It either gives me a rash or exyema (sp) on my eyelids. I wear mascara and am currently using Maybeline which I can get in a grocery store. I can get all of my facial cleansers in the grocery store too. The only beauty products that I use that I have to buy in a salon is my shampoo, conditioner and 2 styling products which are Aveda. I use other various types of hairspray...am actually trying to find the perfect hairspray which I don't use much of. I just use a little on my bangs.
So, I frequent grocery stores or pharmacies for my beauty products...for the most part.

I like Aveda myself but I haven't bought it in a long time because of the price. Their makeup and hair stuff is amazing! If you are looking for a cheap hairspray- try Aussie or the new VO5 stuff in the red bottles. These are both cheap and really good- and shouldn't make your bangs crispy! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I might try one of those. I hate if my bangs are crispy. They don't shine and just look gross, not to mention how they feel. I like my bangs to stay put because they sweep over to the side a little but are right at my eyebrow and if they fall into my eyes even a little, it annoys me. I really hate to use hairspray but, with my bangs, I pretty much have to. I went for about a decade without hairspray before I got bangs back.
Aveda is expensive. I get the big industrial sized bottles. They are more expensive but, they last for a lot longer. Then again, I only wash my hair every other day so, maybe they would last for half that time if I washed my hair every day. Still, it is worth it to spend a little more for the huge bottles. Otherwise, I would be buying more every 2 - 3 months.
Thank you again for the suggestions!

I am not very fond of make-up... i am not that good in applying it to my face...and only use it when i will attend formal gatherings... or simple lipstick when i was still teaching... so... i usually just buy what i need form my ever ready and reliable Avon lady... and my sister would also send me some from the US... and that saves a lot of money...

I love make-up. I like maybeline mascara and cheek mousse. I got my moisture rich lipstick from my avon lady. For my fondation i use a local product its name is maxifeel concealer cream, and my eye liner is also a local product called everbelena. And for my eye color, it was only given to me by my friend who is working in Japan so i dont know the brand name because it was written in Japanese, but its good.

Nice they have some good stuff- like my beloved timewise moisturizer..:) That must be great and easy. I'd never leave my house, I would just sit with stuff slapped all over my face. Do you do pretty well selling Mary Kay if you don't mind me asking?
