With the state of the government right now and how chaotic they are, Philippines- has lot's of corrupt government officials- this is what will come to my mind first!LOL But you know, I love Philippines for each spots, and of course the BEACHES! Boracay, Panglao, Bohol, Camiguin, Palawan, San Juan- Batangas, Siargao, Zambales- Potipot Islands Pangasinan and a lot more. I haven't been to some places that I mention above yet, but I am sure they are really awsome. Last year I went in Potipot Island- winner! It was a small private island with pinkish-white (white is the more dominating color)powdery sand. It's one of the best! =)

Philippines boosts of a lot beautiful wonders of nature that three (3) of these were nominated to the 2008 search for the "New 7 Wonders of the World". Ranking of Philippine entries as of April 10 are as follows: Chocolate Hills (Bohol) 8th rank Tubbataha Reef (Palawan) Mayon Volcano If you love our country, please vote and help push these to the top. http://www.new7wonders.com/nature/en/vote_on_nominees/

When I hear the word Philippines, I know that it's a country with basically two seasons: the hot, and very hot. It is also one of the best - in government corruption. But it has beautiful places like Baguio City where the climate is just right!

I from the Philippines but still I want to think that the Philippines is where dreamers and makers exist! We are wonderfully awesome and great. We live in a culture rich, nature rich and awestruck paradise.

I am an American, but I was in Manila for 3 weeks, two years ago, and I loved it. There is good and bad no matter where you go, but all the people I met were so nice and I only wish I could afford to go back and spend more time. I never got out of Manila, because there was a little trouble while I was there, but the weather was great-I like hot weather.

It reminds me of two things. These are "balot" and "dinuguan" delicacies uniquely Filipino.

When I hear Philippines, I always think of happy memories from the places I've been and the people I have been with. Everything is positive. Of course, it's my native land and it is where I grew up.

I think its weird but, I immediately remind myself with our home than those patriotic details like the archipelago or that flag of ours...

I think,1) this is where I live; 2) the weather is hot! I like living here, I am a first class citizen. I have as much freedom as anyone, I can go anywhere I please without worrying about terrorist attacks. Well, I think there's a third thing I think of when I hear Philippines. GMA! I don't like her, though.

It's a warm country with warm people. Hospitable, friendly, gossips, corruption. White sand beaches, simple life, poverty.
