anique furniture

i think antique furniture is a better quality. it has a unique look. it last longer, than the furniture that is made today. what do you think?

Yes, in antique furnitures, the craftsmanship is very intricate and the materials are carefully chosen. My husband loves antique pieces. He has several pieces. It goes well with our other furnitures. It gives more accent to our house.

I agree with you... antique furnitures are more beautiful and a lot more sturdy than those made today... maybe because the handywork and materials used in making them... are a lot better... since today... machines are used and young trees are cut to create furnitures... collecting antique furnitures is what i want to do in the future... but right now... since finances are quite difficult... i will be content in admiring them from a far...

I think that most older things are built better than they are today. Truly antique furniture was made by hand, so a lot of care had to go into making it. Furniture that is made today is typically assembled by a machine and there is not as much time taken to make sure it is done right.
