When I started to study in the first course of interior design (the first year) I was used to be sleepless for 3-4 days.. initially was difficult not to sleep a wink but later the organism adjusted...
I can say that the second night is very difficult because the organism is tired but later is easer (in the third and fourth days you feel like walking corpse, just don't understand the atmosphere (nothing), start to hear strange sounds, your senses become more sensitive).. But this life mode is very dangerous, so don't do it please..

I was in a bet with some people when I was young and stupid to see who could stay awake the longest. Two of us made it three days. After two it is like a natural high and it's free. I stayed up about 36 hours last New Years and it practically killed me, I sure felt my age.

I think the longest I've ever been without sleep is 27 hours because of driving from Texas to Virginia. That was really hard and when we did finally get there, we went to bed soon after and slept like a log.

Hello, megumiart! you see sleep is an absolute necessity for a man just like foods and drinks.adult humans have the biological need to sleep atleast 7/8 hours.sleep is a metabolic regulator and sleep disorders affect metabolism.sleep loss has adverse effects on the body's systems causing ill health and disease.prolonged sleep loss is fatal.so it always advisable to have adequate sleep to keep the body and mind fit.thank you.

The longest I went without sleep was 28 hours. I stayed up to see Prince Andrew and Sarah's wedding in 1986.

The longest I stayed away was 34 hours. I some how made myself a little bit nocternal and decided to stay up for one whole night in an attempt to get my body clock back on track. It did not work, sadly, and I still can not fall asleep before 5am.
