Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So, work like you don't need money, love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching.

It can be both. Why would I affirm myself on saying that? Here is my brief analogy to the topic. One must give himself/herself the attitude of liking or loving what it is he/she is doing that by simply following this on his way to completing a particular task he then feels satisfactions whatever may the outcome will be. That is "present tense" and we consider it a journey. Whereas, at the end of a certain period let's say for a year, month or week-long, it will now be a destination being reached so far... well as in the first analogy: you have loved or liked what it is you're working and so happiness by this time will now be a destination...

on my way to finding the best I can contribute on this discussion I feel happiness because I love responding to it. Then when I finished it the other day, and has get back here today I feel the same happiness... And I have experienced both on my way and when I get there.

Well, it is certainly wonderful how you see life and how you see happiness. I do agree with you. It is all a matter of how we see things and what we do with life. There are too many people how are very much occupied with work that they fail to see what matters most. Life should be enjoyed and we should be satisfied with what we have. True indeed we must work to earn a living but at times we must play and enjoy.

Yes friend but it is not to all ! Happiness is a journey for the happiest peoples. Work without money is a charity and love without hurt is not a good taste of love, dance like no one's watching is solitary happiness of mind. Thanks for sharing a nice articles which is mostly true.

I'll have to agree for the most part. If we try and live our life with a good attitude, and be happy, our lives are so much more fulfilling. Sometimes it's hard to find something to be happy about on our journey, but like most other things: happiness is a choice. I have chronic pain from many diagnosis, and I can choose to let that be the focus of my life, or I can choose to be happy despite the situation. I choose to be happy!

Happiness for me is what I own, what I dream of and what I can get in the future. Even recalling the past, I can only remember those tiny moments which can me smile instead of cry. So, happiness is in our mind, always. I believe you are happy too.
