Hotmail rejecting my password

When I log onto Hotmail via the website, it always rejects my password on the first attempt but lets me in on the second attempt. I even used a keystroke recorder to see exactly what passwords I typed, and both attempts were identical. Maybe Hotmail does not like my complex password...

I have had the same problem, although I have never checked the url of the first page, but all I know is that it's doing it on both my PC and my laptop, so my question is: Is it a fake page that I got on both my laptop and PC, or is it some kind of error, also, will changing my password make the hackers(if it's that) stop going to my email and using it? Because my girlfriend once had that problem, they used her email account to open an account on some arab english website, yet we live in North America.

Quite funny to comment to myself, but anyway, I have browsed the web, and it seems it is a problem that has to do with: 1. Either people using Mozilla Firefox. 2. People using a favorite and blocking cookies. Anyway, If you're using Firefox(I am), it seems it is a major problem to most users.

I am using Firefox, Anyway I changed my favorite for hotmail to 'https://msnia.login.live.com' and now it works 100% of the time. Now I only have to type my 15 character password once to login.

Many internet marketers does not prefer hotmail and even discouraged me to use it. And personally, I don't like hotmail because of so many problems I encountered on them so I did not continue my account in there!

I use Hotmail because it's easily accessible from any internet enabled computer and it has a large Inbox, But all my important emails (ebay, paypal etc) I use my service provider's email address, which I don't make public.
