Can anyone tell me why this happens when I click on a link?

I'm a link clicker here on mylot and there are times when after I've checked out the site I can arrow back and be where I left off on mylot. BUT there are other times when I get stuck on the site and can't get back unless I log on again 
. Does anyone else experience this problem? Any idea why it happens?

I know what you want to say it happens because the website owner dosn't want us to leave his website
