Warnings that can prevent heart attacks

When we pick up a package of ciggarettes, or look the packaging of kids' toys what do we see? A warning.. which is good. How come we never see them on food labels, menus or fast food packaging? Why does the government send a loud message about smoking and toys and not fast food and junk food? I think that they put these warnings on products because it's a way that they can cover themselves by not getting sued. So why can't fast food places do the same. Say for instance, Joe goes to McDonalds and buys a big mac... he leaves there and has a heart attack.. he survives it this time and decides to sue McDonalds. I'm sure he would make a pretty penny from them although his eating habits have been burgers and grease the whole time. Warning labels are pretty much giving the message to do it at your own risk. I think fast food places should do the same, don't you?

In canada we dont have warnings on the food packages, but we have nutrition labels on EVERYTHING. even the macdonalds, so that you can read and know exactly how much calories, fat, sodium, iron, oh they llist it all i can't remember them all lol. but it tells you how much your putting into your body when you eat the suggested serving ;)

Yeah I've seen this but I don't think it's as good as a warning unless it's told in a more straight forward way. People that eat this stuff more than 3 times a week for whatever the reasons are wether it's a busy work schedule, on the go, or just to lazy to cook need a wake up call. Also it would sure cover a fast food's butt if it were to be brought up in court say if they did get sued. (I'm not sure how often this actually happens) I guess another thing about this in my opinion is that these foods are killing people just as much as smoking or hazardous toys are. Thanks for your thoughts sissygrl.. have a great day!
