There are so many content production sites springing up around the internet, such as Associated Content, Triond, and Helium, that it's hard to say which one is best. What site do you think is the best one (in regard to profitability) and why do you think it's the best?

My favorite is Associated content. I just sold two articles that I wrote today. I like that they pay up front, and they also allow me to earn extra money depending on how many people read my content. I am also on helium, and they pay there is so slow that I doubt that I will ever actually get paid. My advice is stick with AC and you will make plenty of money. There are even some articles that I have read that actually show people making a living just on the money that they earn on AC. Here is my CP page if you are interested. http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/67042/brian_cote.html

I'm also a big fan, and regular contributor, to Associated Content. So far I've published around 35 articles or so and I really like the site. I was wondering, though, do you ask for upfront payments for your articles or do you simply publish for performance payments? Also, what does Associated Content usually offer you in terms of upfront payments per article?
