Would you rather watch movies on DVD, or Cable?

I personally would rather watch movies on DVD rather than on Cable. I recently made this decision since my cable provider keeps acting up. My movies keep freezing up on me and I have to restart the whole box, and then go back into my On Demand features and have to restart my program. It's driving me nuts. I'm sick today, and can't move very far from my bed unless I have to use the bathroom, and it's making it more difficult to try to relax with my cable box giving me a hard time on top of that.

I also prefer DVD. I have the displeasure of a box cutting out. Only my box doesn't restart. I get a black screen for fifteen minutes or perhaps a full hour, destroying my experience, so I went screaming to Netflix.

I usually just unplug the box and then replug it. It usually reboots, but it takes a good five minutes or so, and then another 10 to actually get On Demand to cooperate again. It's just really frusterating, and it makes me want to just go rent a movie instead.

I woudl much rather watch a movie on DVD. There are hardly any movies and cables and all those commercials you haev to put up with arent worth it. Furthermore if you have to get and get soemthing not during a commercial you can always pasue if its dvd.

Well that's why we have On Demand. During On Demand you start the movie whenever you want to, and can pause, rewind, and even stop to start at a later time. I think it's great, but it's only drawback is when it freezes up and I have to reboot.

I prefer to watch them on dvd that way you can pause them if you need to and come back and watch the rest of the movie and you don't have to worry your cable will go out right in the middle of the movie either.

generally I will not watch any movie on tv because they edit it a lot before showing. you can never watch the complete movie on TV no matter what people think all movies are edited . even though it is cable. on dvd nothing has been cut off.
