whats the lowest amount of posts you have had to get paid?

March 14, 2008 6:09pm CST
I noticed before that someone was saying that next to their name it said "name" (467) This means that they have had 467 posts, and then they recieved a payment for $13.99 This means, they are getting roughly $0.03 per post they send. I am getting about $0.015, I normally make my replies detailed and long, always add tages, but yet i presume that i will be about 650-750 posts before i even reach $10.00, please can someone help me out with why this is?!?! Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris1314. How are you doing? I haven't seen you over on International Offers or Jill's lately. Anyway, just keep starting discussions and responding to discussions. Remember you get paid for responses to your discussions also so, your number next to your name will never match up with the money you are making. Responses to your discussions don't make your number go up, just your money. The person who made 13.99 with only 467 posts must have started a lot of really good discussions.

Oh I'm doing really good on both sites. I upgraded on both of them and I'm getting tons of free referrals that way. A friend of mine told me about it and she was right!

I've been here for a week and my earnings are almost to $3, and no, I'm not lying about that. I do a lot of responding everyday and today I have been sick, so I have been posting a lot more then all the other days that I have been here. This is probably my 40th or 50th post today. I almost always type more then 3 lines, and at some points I even type out full paragraphs! I also start at least 5-10 discussions a day and accept quite a bit of friendships also. I think it all depends on your participation, and whether or not your discussions get anywhere, or how well put your answers are.

As for my posts from yesterday reaching that high, I got over a $1 just for my participation yesterday, 1.02 to be exact. I'm not making millions but I'm liking that my earnings are going up fairly quick.

Hi Chris, I have posted 651 posts (or so it says next to my name) and still haven't reached minimum, I'm roughly at $8.79... I don't really get how does the mylot earning system works. And I guess I'll never will. but I keep posting long good responses... =)

the thing next to your name apparently isnt the amount of posts you have made, its the ammount of something else, but its sort of right. I dont understand, i never will neither. I am aiming to get first payment by 600 next to my name, but someone above has just commented saying that they reached their first payout when they had 200 next to their name! so i dont know :/ Thanks for the reply, Chris

The amount you get paid is supposed to reflect your activity and 25 percent of the activity of your referrals! I have only started a few discussions that did not get too many answers, but I have posted responses and comments as well as received two best responses! I think my referral has not started to respond or started any discussions yet! I do know that I went a long time with only a penny because I was not posting correctly! I was switching between windows on my computer and did not know what the tags box was for, or how important it is! Apparently, if you do not add tags, the post does not go through! So this year I learned how to post correctly and I have a number next to my name! I read through the FAQs, terms of service, and also checked out one of my friends website, since there was a ton of information about MyLot that I did not know yet!

I think it is the length of the message you post that is important . i only earn less when i reply to discussions with a few sentences. i have earned 95 cents so far. and i have posted 110 replies corresponding to the number in brackets.my earnings rise more when i reply with long messages. but referrals can be a factor. i have one referral but i think he is inactive. so its no use actually. i am not sure but i think as you grow you earnings increase.

it is really not just the lenght of your posts that matters but also the quality of your post, also when you post make sure you add relevant body to your headings, while postingg gets you points, you must learn to respond right,i love responding to a post before it becomes really old,it gets me noticed and i guess some people have become my friend like this, also i look out sometimes for postings that were not responded to,if i find anything interesting there i post a response,or i try to figure out the best way to reword the post so i can get a good posting from it
