I am brown-skinned. Sadly, I too am a victim in this quest for lighter skin. I have tried whitening lotions, soaps, capsules, name it...chances are..I tried it!!!..How about you? Are you happy with the color of your skin? If not, what products did you use? Were they as good as promised?

I am white-and I mean pastey, fish-belly white. I've always been so jealous of people with dark skin, please don't think that "lighter" is "better"! I use tanning beds and self-tanners just to look "normal" and not sickly. I think black, white, beige, brown, tan, every "colour" is beautiful-don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

ohhh I guess it's human nature. you like what you don't have. if you look at the beaches all over the world, you would love yourself more, as many caucassian go for tanning on the beaches, and even go to tanning salon. so love yourself the way you are! I am brown too as I am a filipina, but I always get complemented with my colors here in Canada. they think its sexy! Cheer up!

Like Michael Jackson, one should try plastic surgery, for a fair skin. Generally,Youth is more beautiful, than complexion!

My skin is a chocolate color. And I love it. It's really sad today that no one seems happy with how they naturally look anymore. The only people that made me feel inferior ever about my color of skin were people of my OWN race. It's best to leave your skin the way it is. Once you bleach out the color you can't bring it back.

Oh good Lord, and here I spend all my waking summer hours trying to get darker! I really think everyone should be happy with what they've got and who they are. Trying to change yourself only makes you frustrated in the end.

My daughter, who is half hispanic and half white, absolutely LOVES dark skinned people. She thinks black skin is beautiful... you should not try to lighten yourself for anyone else's standards of beauty...

Please,Black is so beautiful. My mom was so dark she looked regal. My father is Italian and he lost his mind when he seen her over 28 years ago.He would always say she was the most beautifulwomen he ever seen. Please think about the beauty of a black woman and you will see there is never a need for change.
