Please share your experiences.... I have lived in Mumbai all my childhood..., I would like to know experiences that you, your friends and family members had ... I missed out from passing on my helping hand on that day... please share what you did give out as help to others....

I was also trapped in the 2005 deluge in Mumbai. I literally stayed in my company bus for the whole night. The water had risen so high as to completely hide cars like Maruti 800 -- i.e. almost 4 feet high water bed... The next morning I, along with many others, then started walking through this flood water, constantly praying to God to save us. No one was willing to give lift, transport was almost unavailable. I walked almost 10km to reach my destination! It was a horrible experience. I just learnt that Mumbai would be facing similar situation in July 23 and 24 this year... God save Mumbai!
