webkinz is a pain

I bought webkinz for my kids for Christmas and they have had more problems with it than I think it is worth. They are constantly getting booted out, the site locks up, and sometimes they can't even get in. Am I the only parent having problems with this site? Is there a better kid site like webkinz they can go to? Thank all in advance
