In our world today, everything seems to be possible with a some good cash in your pocket. Science also proved that having enough wealth eases up the mind and makes life less stressful. Many of us works hard to earn money; sometimes we force ourselves into really stressful situations just to perform better at work. We also try several things to earn decent income. Yet, one question remains... Will you be happy, if you are wealthy?

I don't think I'll be happy If I were wealthy. The only thing that money can buy is security and that security is the security of knowing that you will have a roof over your head, food to eat, clothes to put on your body. That's the only thing that money can buy. Happiness is not bought. I think that happiness is free. But there are people that don't take the time to go and freeload of the free and abundant happiness that is out there.

Yes I agree; that's why we have a saying that the best things in life are free. :) We can be happy on simple things. Yet sometimes, we do really need to spend something to be happy or at least avoid getting frustrated with our daily lives. Thank you for responding.

Hello, vhayste! no..... money can not buy happiness even though it has the capability to purchase any material in this world.in this materialistic age money has no doubt significant importance but it can not satisfy you in any way.instead of giving you peace,it cause many problems in life.you just see who, in this world is in peace or who is happy.you will find many people happy who have no enough money in their pockets.the reason is they do not feel the necessity of a building,a car, rich diet, etc.but in case of a wealthy man it is just the reverse.the wealthy man has a lot of desires, dream to acquire some buildings, cars, bikes, and other luxuries and the list will go on never ending.so he can not get peace in mind and so he remains unhappy through out his life.so it is rightly said that money buys every thing but not happiness.thank you.

Hi bbsr13! Thank you for your comment :) Yes, we are indeed living in the age where materialism is prevalent. It is also true that while many wealthy people have temporary happiness due to their wealth, deep inside they are sad. They worry about their money, their properties, sometimes their insecurities. It is true that the less you worry, the happier you are.

That my friend is a question I could only answer if I were wealthy! I am not wealthy at the moment and sitting here thinking about it as it stands then I would automatically say that yes I would be happy because all my troubles would be over!

i'm not for sure that i must be happy if i'm wealthy. money is not everything in my mind.maybe i will be sad with other things.like lack of love and care,if i have a lot money i can't use up.but there are shortage of love in my life,i won't be happy,my life will be empty.love play the most role in my life.i don't deny the money can take to me a little joy.it can change my life situation and can make things earier.
