I know this video has been taken off YouTube, but I found it on ABC news. The address is www.abcnews.com/Blotter/story?id=4443788&page=1. If you can't use this link, go to ABC news and search for it. I found it by searching on Yahoo for God d--- America. I hope it makes people wake up to who Obama is. I want everyone to see it.

I'm pretty sure everyone has seen it over and over again, as many times as they could possibly care to see it. My question is "Why?". Obama has addressed this topic on several networks in recent days, why can't we just leave it go already? The same goes for the minister who recently endorsed John McCain, actually I believe there were two controversial religious figures who have publicly supported McCain. This is why I'm such a firm believer in the separation of church and state and leaving religion out of political campaigns altogether! If everyone were honest, I wonder how many average people who are casual to regular church members either are totally aware of or follow to the letter every single thing the pastor of their church preaches or believes in. I'm not necessarily talking about those who are extremely active in a particular church and are always there, week after week, and are never somewhere else on Sunday morning, such as maybe away in Washington D.C or out on the campaign trail. I take Obama at his word when he says he denounces and rejects the things this minister has said because he's given me no reason not to. I also take McCain at his word when he says he disagrees with the also outrageous words of his supporters within the clergy. I don't think America deserved 9/11 nor do I think God did it to punish gays and I don't think there is any candidate running for President who believes these things either. Let's get a grip people and pay attention to the issues and what the candidates have done and want to do. I'd personally love to see all the candidates for every office and the media to agree to a "don't ask, don't tell" policy about the candidates' religious beliefs or affiliations - or lack thereof. I'm not Catholic, I'm not Jewish, I'm not Muslim and I'm not Mormon but that doesn't mean I'd have a problem voting for the right candidate from any of these faiths if the opportunity arose. I don't really care to know one way or another. Annie

Why? Why? You must be kidding! The disgusting things that have come to light about the church he attends are issues we need to be concerned with. You don't think that racism is an issue? You would elect and be perfectly happy to elect a white man/woman who is a member of church that hates blacks/Mexicans/Muslims? That's ok with you? I can't understand how you think you can take his word for it when he has lied and is lying about it now. There is no way you have a "mentor," are a friend of, have a pastor who revels in racism, bigotry and rancid hate of America for 20 years and then claim not to have known about it! That's just ridiculous! As far as separation of Church and State, nobody is any more for it than I am. However, this isn't about his beliefs in God or Gods or no God/s, this is about character. And his character has certainly been called into question by his associations. Perhaps you should do a little more research before you pass it off as nothing to do with issues.

And to add to that Anne, yes there were two controversial figures who supported McCain but these were neither his pastor nor self-procalimed mentors. The very denial of knowledge of what was going on in the church Obama said he has attended faithfully for the last 20 years shows the true character of the man you would have as president! You despise Bush? Meet his democratic counterpart--Barak Hussein Obama!

If we followed rules like that then we could have someone like David Duke run and not bring up his affiliation with the KKK. I mean, fair is fair right? I'm not saying Obama is the equivalent of David Duke, he's just the only other politician in recent years to be involved with racist organizations. Funny though how he ran as both a democrat and as a republican on separate occasions.

I find it interesting how he waited so long to denounce it. This was brought up months ago and he only said he denounced these statements less than a week ago. My bet is that he just didn't care. It was his campaign advisers who told him to denounce the speeches or it would hurt his chance at the nomination.

I want everyone to see it to, but I'm afraid that people are making excuses and regardless of what happens the liberals are already brainwashed.
