Anyone member of Pinecone Research? I have been trying to join that survey site but never get approved. I just did again here on a banner at the top. A few banners later, I see it flashing "are you 18-24? Join Pinecone Research"....am I not being approved cause theya re only taking 18-24 year old people? Anyone have any idea bout this?

I am a member of pinecone research. I did get an email a while ago saying that they were looking for more members, but they wanted either males or the ages of 18-24. They must have enough members who are older and female right now. When I joined, I was told that they paid $5 per survey, but now they only pay $3 per survey. That's ok though, they pay and they pay quickly.

Afraid of that. I've been trying to get with them for a year now! Guess I might as well give up.

Yes I am a member and they pay $3 per survey. I joined a few months ago though. They may only be taking certain age groups right now, thats probably what it is. They are a good site but I haven't been getting very many surveys lately.

ive been a memeber of Pinecone Research for a number of years now. and they do tend to be selective when it comes to approving new members. if they are currently showing banners saying 18-24, then its very unlikely that they will accept anybody beyond those ages unfortunatly. a few ppl above me have mentioned that they are only paying $3.00 per survey now. i just got paid my usual $5.00 just 2 days ago. OR it might be that they've changed the payment for the latest set of recruits? keep trying them though..not for this set of banners if you've already filled out the application once, like someone else said, duplictes are liable to get all thrown out that you've submitted. Pinecone Research is worth the effort!

It's very difficult to even find the banners. I have been trying for ages but was never even able to find a banner. From what I heard pinecone research is one of the ones that actually do work and that really pay or send items for trying. I keep hearing about it but I never even saw a banner and that is the only way to get in. At least you saw the banner .. you're one step ahead of me LOL

Thanks for telling me, I am responding form my email and I hadn't read the other responses yet. I"m going to pay attention. I have been trying to find one for ages. I know it doesn't mean that they will accept me but I'll take the chance:)

Coffeebreak, it is not because of your age, that much I know, because I have been a member for some time now and you are, um, young enough to be my daughter. However they do discourage us from posting information about them in any public forum and I have heard of members being dropped because of that. It could just be that they have enough people fitting your demographic profile who live in the same zip code as you or for some other reason. I'm sure it is no reflection on you personally.

I agree with 2potty, but if you signed up from a banner that asked for applications for a demographic group other than yours, that could get you banned from the start I should think. Sorry to hear you have not gotten accepted because they really are special.

They just want to make sure that you are a adult .As a adult you can do many things that you want and all nonage can not do .In this way ,you can take in the site and to do want you want. just this.

i received an email from canada survey panel last friday with an invite to join. So i signed up and it took til yesterday for them to confirm it was received and do a secondary gathering of information. I was going to try signing up again but it said that re-registering the same House address would invalidate any previous registrations and if it was still being processed you wouldn't make it as a member. so i didnt retry. When i got the email this morning was was glad i hadnt tried to re-register.
