Bruxism - Do you grit and grind your teeth?

Some people blame stress, while others point to heredity, but no matter what the cause, millions of people spend their sleeping hours grinding their teeth. Many people are unaware of the fact that they are doing it unless an annoyed spouse clues them in to their habit. In my case the dentist pointed out my secret ailment. Am I the only Mylotter who grinds their teeth?

i dunnow, 3 of my brothers and 1 sister grind their teetg while sleeping.. maybe it's heredity because most of their offspring also grind their teeth.. i suggest that you talk to your dentist about occlussal guards or most commonly known as night guards.. usually that is replaced once every 36 months (or that's usually the ones or insurance will cover.. lol... if not, you will seriously damage your teeth and the sleeping pattern of your spouse.. lol.. anyway, goodluck with that..
