If i first used my external hard drive on a Mac, can i use it for a pc? / myLot

I formatted it on a Mac [for my video class],but i want to move some of the files to my PC. Is it possible or i have to reformat the hard drive to use it?

u'll have to reformat it... easiest way is to email the files to yourself then save them on a secondary drive formatted just for PC's..

i am not that familiar with macs but as far as i know the file types are different and you have to reformat it to be able it in windows...
