Buddypond, is it legit?

I've read about this on a few places and i'm wondering for anyone who's a member, or at least a little better familiar with this then me, do you know if it's legit? have you been paid? etc etc. so on and so forth, anyone who can help that would be great.

i have been on the marketing pond with valerie for quite a while now and she does seem legit, i have not been paid yet, but i am coming up on payment soon...so i will update you when i can. however, she is backed and has a huge presence on the web, she has for a very long long time.. check out her marketing pond site and the global team club site.. she has been very supportive and helpful getting many people started

I joined Buddypond last month and was suppose to get an email notification but never did receive one. Guess I am not a member. I haven't tried to sign on yet. I also would like to know more about the site and if I should waste my time contacting them.
