Rats are very smart! I should have killed this one...

Flypaper - It's a flypaper where a rat used to be... until it was able to outsmart me! Argh! You can still see hairs on the flypaper if you look closely.

There are lots of rats in our house so my parents decided to put lots of flypapers on the floor. 2 days ago, one of the flypapers was able to caught one. It was a medium sized one. As it got caught, I just looked and said I'll get back to you later... OK, apparently that was a bad decision!!!4 hours later, it was gone! It was trying to yank itself out of the flypaper by using the bottom of the door. This seems hard to explain, so I've provided a picture of the setting. If you would look very closely, there's still hair on it. I stand there in amazement when I saw what's left was the flypaper. I don't know if I should be happy or sad. Haha... Moral of my experience... kill your rats quickly!

yeah, scientist says if there will be a great revolution on earth that would affect the entire eco system, surely rats will still be there, even if there entire human race will be wipe out, they have the skills on how to survive, and even more population than us. i suggest is to clean the entire house properly, put all food on container, and close-up all disposal bins, because if there is no food to eat no trash to excavate, there will be no rat around, it is like prevention better than cure.

Well, if no one is allergic in the family, maybe they could get a pet that can get those rodents. We once had a dog and believe me, it was able to catch and kill a big female rat (no picture to prove it though ) and the following day, another big one that is male. I was impressed that our dog was able to get rid of something so big, let's say around eleven to twelve inches including the tail. That dog by the way nursed kittens later on. That is possible and true Anyway, yeah, even when you get rid of one, multiples of it would replace it so it is indeed best to just prevent anything that would accomodate their lodging in our homes
