I always like to read everyones usernames whenever I see one. My eyes sort of just catch them first and I read them. But alot of them I see in mylot make me wonder, why that username?? Does it mean anything?? Im sure alot of people would like to change their username to a better one, I just thought up a new screen name for me which I will use for everything now. Just wondering if you could change your username, would you and why?

When I first started using the computer and I came across having to use a username, I did not have a clue, I would just use my real name. But when I joined here and tried to use my real name it was already taken no matter how I changed it around. So I had to sit and think for ages before I could come up with something that I liked and something that connected to me in some way. I have really grown fond of what I chose and so much so that I now use it everywhere! So I would definately not change it because it would take me forever to think of something else.

Yes, I would. I would change it because even though my username is short and easy to remember, I find it a bit boring. I would like something with some pizazz! But I guess I'm stuck with my username...unless I was to close my account, open a new one, and start all over again, which I am not willing to do.

No I really wouldn't. I am very happy with my username as I think it describes me very well! Being a mum is one of if not THE most important aspects of my life and I am also told that I tend to be a mummy to a lot of people! I can't think of another username that would suit or describe me better so I am more than happy to stick with it. xxx

I wouldn't change my username in fact it has become my alter ego online. I think those who can understand what my name means will apprciate the humor behind it.

No, I tend to stick to same user name for mast sites so its easy to remember and then have different passwords for each site instead. I have it as its also part of my e-mail address so it fits in with my details. I only tend to change my user name if I've had the same one for ages and ages and need an upgrade!! I used to always be Muckinfagic from 14-18 but then I became Sarah187 and I 'm happy with it because it also reveals my proper name so people can address me properly. If i'm really into the 'flow' of a site I will occationally join in with the fun and give myself a silly name if I think it will help me fit in better.

I wouldn't change my user name. I chose it because I liked it and I still like it so, no changing for me. I've even started using it for other websites too.

I use the same username for pretty much everything, and I wouldn't ever change it. The only time I use one other than "Lecanis" is when I'm playing a game or something where I have multiple characters, in which case of course every one would have its own name. I'm sure my username looks like gibberish to everyone else, but it has personal meaning to me. It's a short-form of the name of a spirit I associate with, but my being nicknamed after it was because of a loved one. So I use the nickname online since no one really calls me that offline anymore.

Now that I've been a member of the site for a while, I do feel like my username is a mistake. I don't know of a better one that I should use, I just feel like I don't really want the one that I have right now. It's too close to my real name and in this day and age, you really shouldn't reveal too much about yourself.

In a heartbeat! I HAD to use my real name because when I signed up with myLot, it wasn't accepting the name I really wanted to use. I hate using my real name...and if I were to change it, I'd change it to Pleiades because it's the most beautiful constallation in the sky. Plus, it's holds some of the hottest stars out there in that one group.

Hello there, when I signed up the site, I have given a long thought and decided a username that I am not going to change. The longer time I am here, the more I convince myself that I don't have to change my username. The reason is quite simple, there are more and more mylotters are getting familiar with my username and knowing me. If I change it, it may make them to remember me again. Alternatively, it may make them to look for me that is totally unnecessary.

I like my username. It is something unique to me and it connotes on the work place I am happy with. At first I wanted to change because I want my identity to be not known by some friends whom I came to know mylot. On second thought, never mind I like this name and sure even if my friends should know me, there is nothing wrong with what I am writing. So far, I have no plan to change my username.

Its the same with personalised number plates on cars you think what does it mean but thats the point its meant to get you thinking and boy does it...it is very interesting to see the weird and wacky names on here but it obviously means somethinng to the user...I like my username and it is my actual name i think its easier for people to remember and respond to!!

When I started here at myLot, I didn't realize that the username was going to be the name the we actually used for our posts. I thought we'd get the chance to make up a name later on, but I was wrong. Now that you mention that people can find these discussions, even if they don't belong to myLot, now I'm a bit concerned. Maybe the next time I get to a payout I'll close my account and open a new one. I hate to do that though, since I finally made the 500+ range so I have more privliges.

I would not change my user name. I like it and it is who I am. I like to make people happy and when I go down the street I always smile and tell people hi. There is no stranger to me. I clown around at work and my co-workers always ask me if I am on something and I always tell them, yes, I am high on life. I love my user name and even if I could change it I wouldn't

Nope, I wouldnt change my username. I've had the same one for years. And I'm not big on change anyways.. I like things to stay the same as long as everything is moving along alright.
