Fish and other seafood have essential amino acids which is not provided from human body metabolism, and digestion of meat (pork, chicken, beef, and other red meat). In body metabolism, since its not produced by human body, so those amino acids can be found in fish only. Omega-3 is a polypeptide which made by essential amino acids. Amino acids which found in fish are also easily being absorbed by body metabolism since its easily break down during digestion...
So better eat fish than meat for healthy diet
It will never make you fat... you've got all the proteins in FISH!!!

Actually now my family and I cut down on the intake of meat and chicken and we prefer fish due to health reason. Now everybody are concious about their health and we hear that many viruses are transmit through chicken and meat such as mad cow disease. Besides, the oil from the fish are not that saturated as the oil or fat from the meat and chicken.

I always have heard that fish is very good for our health. Thanks for your information. It is good to know. The only problem is that I do not care for fish that much. I also know there is a vitaman that gives you what eating fish would give you.

I do believe it is because of the omega 3 fatty acids that fish is touted as being a healthy alternative in your diet.... though so many fish are becoming toxic due to poor water quality with things such as mercury contaminating their flesh... other options such as farmed fish are being genetically altered and there is much controversy about that as well as what kind of feed they are being given. sigh. if only man would trust God's creation and stop trying to improve upon it.
