Would you rather give your child multiple names (i.e. Sofia Alexie Margaret)? Or a single name to be simple? Why?

Id rather name my child a single name. It is easy for her to remember when in prep school, besides having a single name is an easy recall. I also heard form some superstitious people that names with one or two more names is not a lucky one. But for those who wanted their child to be named in the manner they like, it is their choice.

Personally, I think it's silly and I wouldn't do it. The child would probably only be called by one of those names on a regular basis, so it would be unnecessary. A simple one name with the addition of a middle is fine with me. But then again, I don't even consider middle names essential. The first name is usually the one that people identify with, so I don't think there's any reason to give your child a million other names. xD

Yep, i will.. I like my child to have multiple names. Eversince I like Trisha Sophia Angeline if its going to be a girl. For a baby boy, I would name him Joshua Kenneth.

I am more of a simple named person my self. We have names like Ryan R. & Sarah G. picked out for our kids. We have such a long last name that a simple name we thought was best for our children. The middle name is an intial - my husband's idea.
